The San Mateo Union High School District is now accepting applications for its Measure M and Measure O Bonds Citizen’s Oversight Committee
Pursuant to provisions of the Strict Accountability in Local School Construction Bonds Act of 2000, the San Mateo Union High School District Board of Trustees has established an independent Citizen’s Oversight Committee (COC) of the Measure M Bond passed by the voters in November 2006 and the Measure O Bond passed by the voters in November 2010. The purpose of the Committee is to inform the Board of Trustees and the public concerning the expenditure of the Measure M and Measure O bond proceeds, thus insuring that interests of the voters are represented on authorized projects funded by the Measure M and Measure O bonds and that the District is appropriately and professionally applying the bond funds in accord with its promise to voters to modernize facilities that will provide safe, healthy environments for teaching and learning.
