The Student Nutrition Services Department is making major changes to its program in an effort to offer complete healthy meals and to follow all new laws:

The SMUHSD will continue offering healthy food and drinks educating students about healthy living, exercise, and eating habits. The District has created a Wellness policy that complies with State Senate Bills 12 and 965

Meals: The Student Nutrition Services Program will primarily offer complete meals for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch. These meals comply with either the National School Lunch Program, District Wellness policy, Board Policy 5030.

Additional Items: There will be a limited selection of items sold a la carte , either as an entrée or as a snack items; these items will meet our district wellness policy, Board Policy 5030

POINT OF SALES:  The Student Nutrition Department uses a computerized system EZ Pay to pay for students meals. Parents or Students may add funds to their childs account by filling out the prepayment form and turning it into the school site main office or the district office student nutrition dept (640 North Delaware St. in San Mateo)

To create a program for our students that is:

Healthy, Affordable, and A Program that breaks-even. 

• Customers are not “to do” for us,
  We are to do for them.
• Customers are not an interruption of our work,
  They are the purpose of it.
• Customers are not an obstruction of our work,
  They are a part of it.
• Customers are not dependent upon us,
  We are dependent upon them.
• Customers are not people to argue with or match wits with,
  No employee ever won an argument with a customer.
