The Board of Trustees recognizes the importance of minimizing the District's use of natural resources, providing a high quality environment that promotes health and productivity, and effectively managing the District's fiscal resources. To that end, the District will implement effective and sustainable resource practices by ensuring that all major modernizations and new buildings meet or exceed the current minimum Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) design standards, unless the Board determines that to do so would be cost prohibitive or otherwise not feasible.
