Mills Students Attend California’s FCCLA Region 5 Fall Leadership Meeting

Thirteen Mills students and FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) Advisor Mrs. J. Tuttle, recently attended California’s FCCLA Region 5 Fall Leadership Meeting at San Luis Obispo High School. Twelve chapters, including 150 FCCLA chapter members, advisors, and administrators, participated. The theme of the meeting, “The Oscars...Lights, Camera, Action! Featuring You,” included presentations from Mills' Region Officers, Nick Agustin and Calla Yang. Chapter members were encouraged to participate in leadership development by becoming a Region Officer Candidate or by participating in an FCCLA chapter, team, or individual Competitive Recognition Event (CRE). The FCCLA Region 5 Spring Leadership and Qualifying Competition Meeting will be held on February 18, 2017 at Mission College located in Santa Clara, California.
