Bon Appétit Visits Peninsula High

Peninsula Students Learn from Bon App tit chefs
The students of Peninsula High's culinary classes are eager, talented students looking for promising opportunities, and teacher Jesse Warshauer knew that a visit from Bon Appétit would be an inspiring experience. Bon Appétit Chefs Katherine, Leland and Kyung joined all three of Mr. Warshauer's culinary classes. These successful chefs talked about entry level opportunities, Bon Appétit's Student Program, what the company looks for in candidates, and the chefs' stories. At the every end, Chef Katherine showed the students how to make truffles while her and Chef Leland talked about their career pathways. The students got to roll and coat the truffles with various toppings! The students were reportedly "jazzed" by the presentation and were excited to know that there are career opportunities for them in the future. HUGE thank you to Bon Appétit!
