Mills High’s Sarah Gayer Named Top CCS Scholar-Athlete

Sara Gayer with FamilySarah Gayer of Mills High School has been named a recipient of a Central Coast Section 2016-17 Scholar-Athlete Scholarship. She is one of 18 scholar-athletes so chosen by CCS officials. Each will receive a $500 award. The section is one of 10 regions that comprise the California Interscholastic Federation, the governing sports body of the state’s secondary schools. Mills and the other San Mateo Union High School District schools are members of the Peninsula Athletic League, one of nine CCS leagues. The section runs from San Francisco to King City.
