Aragon Wins CIEE Scholarship for Student Adventures Abroad!

CIEE LogoAragon High has won a Council Global Navigator Scholarship from the Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE). Thirteen students from Aragon will be going abroad with CIEE this summer, some fully funded and some partially funded based on the award.The programs/destinations they will be participating in are:

  • Biodiversity & Conservation in Monteverde, Costa Rica
  • Marine Ecology in Kralendijk, Bonaire
  • Global Entrepreneurship in Berlin, Germany
  • Aquatic Ecosystems & Sustainability in Lisbon, Portugal
  • French Language & Culture in Toulouse, France
  • Youth Development in Santiago, Dominican Republic
  • Japanese Language & Pop Culture in Tokyo, Japan
  • Children's Rights & Education Service, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic
  • German Language and Culture, Berlin, Germany

This scholarship validates that Aragon High is committed to language education, world studies curriculum and global citizenship. Being an "official Global Navigator partner school" provides funding of a minimum of $25,000 to help students go on these world learning adventures. To learn more about the CIEE, click HERE.
