iStock board meeting microphoneSMUHSD’s Board of Trustees invites you to two board meetings the week of May 8th. On Monday, May 8th starting at 5:30pm, the Board of Trustees will have a special meeting and study session to discuss the 17/18 budget only.

On Thursday, May 11th starting at 7pm at a regularly scheduled Board meeting, staff will present an overview of our District's AVID program and the ways in which it has been successful in building a college-going culture among first-generation, low-income students, will provide a summary of the work the District English Learner Advisory Committee  (DELAC) did this year to understand the current state of the District’s English Learner programs and policies, and will ask the Board to approve a set of common minimum expectations for all English courses across the District.

Click HERE for the May 8th agenda and HERE for the May 11th agenda. Both meetings will take place at the San Mateo Adult School, 789 E Poplar Ave, San Mateo.
