San Mateo High Student Wins High Honors in the 14th District's Congressional Art Competition

Grace Sun s Winning Art PieceGrace Sun from San Mateo High School placed 3rd in the 14th District's Congressional Art Competition hosted by Congresswoman Speier at the Peninsula Museum of Art this past spring. The Congressional Art Competition was started to promote the arts, encourage art education, and provide high school students with the opportunity for national recognition for their creative talents. Grace's artwork will be hanging in the Congresswoman's office for the next year. Some of our Mills students also earned honorable mentions in this regional competition!
