Clearing the Smokescreen: A Frank Conversation about Marijuana
Tuesday, October 24th
Burlingame High School Theater
1 Mangini Way

In January of 2018, the Marijuana laws in California are changing. What does that mean for our community? What do we know about how students are accessing marijuana now? What forms does it take? What should parents know about the effects of marijuana on adolescent brain development? What are the myths and what are the facts? No matter where you stand on the ideological spectrum of legalization, you won’t want to miss this panel conversation dedicated to giving you the latest information on this important health topic.

PANELISTS (subject to change)

  • Daniel Becker, M.D. Mills Peninsula Health Services
  • Dave Pine, San Mateo County Supervisor
  • Al Serrato, Assistant District Attorney

MODERATOR: John Ryan (BHS Parent)
