Aragon's GSA Club Educates Football Spectators on the Importance of Inclusivity

Members of Aragon s GSA Club
Aragon's football games draw sizeable crowds, so the games become great opportunities to share education on a number of important and relevant teen related issues. At a recent home game, a group of Aragon students representing Aragon's GSA (Gender and Sexuality Awareness Club) educated sports fans on the importance of inclusivity of all students, including those teens who identify with the LGBTQ+ community. At the Aragon "Pride
Game," a number of students gave away Ally Stickers (rainbow emoji hearts), information and resource handouts, and wristbands with an inspiring message on the outside and the Trevor Project 24/7 hotline number on the inside. Thank you to all of the students who took the time to educate attendees on the important topic of gender identity. Photo: Front Row (L-R) Sara McNevin, Angela McNevin, Jayna Swami, Symonne Shih.
