School bus service is available to and from Aragon, Hillsdale and San Mateo High Schools from the Foster City area only. School bus service is also available to and from Peninsula High School from San Mateo, Foster City, Burlingame, Millbrae and San Bruno. If your student has an IEP through Special Education he or she may be eligible for transportation at no charge through that program. Please contact the Special Education Department at (650) 558-2260 to confirm your student's Special Education transportation.
2016-2017 School Year: School Bus Program
Parents who choose to have their students travel to and/or from school on a school bus must purchase a School Bus Sticker, which is good for the whole 16/17 school year and needs to be attached to the student's school ID card in order to be valid, or a Monthly School Bus Pass. Transportation Information Letter and Application Forms
1) The San Mateo Union High School District can take VISA and Mastercard payments in person at the District Office only.
2) Please mail your applications, with check payments only, to the District at: San Mateo Union High School District, Attn: Bus Pass, 650 North Delaware Street, San Mateo, CA 94401 (stickers and monthly passes will be mailed back to you before school starts)
OR submit your application in person at the District office AFTER AUGUST 2, 2016.
3) Free and Reduced Price School Bus Sticker Application must be submitted with proof of income. A copy of your current paycheck stub, last year's tax statement, or letter from the State regarding any State benefits will be adequate. Please send proof of income for everyone in household who is receiving income.
