Enrolling in College Courses

  • Completing college can be a daunting and often expensive undertaking. While SMUHSD graduates earn college degrees at rates higher than national averages, the District supports its students to realize this success by offering dual enrollment in college courses for our current high school students.

Students who take advantage of dual enrollment have the option of taking college courses on one of our high school campuses through the College of San Mateo, or Skyline College.

Students enrolled in college courses while in high school benefit by:

    • Receiving high school AND college credit that is transferable to UCs and CSUs!
    • Exploring potential college majors and career opportunities!
    • Saving money! All college courses taken through this program are FREE!

If you are not interested in enrolling in the courses offered through CSM and Skyline on our high school campuses, visit their websites to learn more about additional classes they offer.
