Student Nutrition Services
The San Mateo Union High School District Student Nutrition Department participates in the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program. This is a program that serves nutritionally balanced meals every school day. During the 2023-2024 school year the state of California is providing one complimentary breakfast meal and one complimentary lunch meal daily to ALL San Mateo Union High School District students. Breakfast is served before school or at brunch, and lunch is served daily. This includes one entrée item plus at least one other item including milk, fruits, and vegetables during all of the service times. All students who are eligible for the program benefits should apply to receive other benefits provided for qualifying for the program. Participating students are not identified or treated differently.
