Building Healthy Relationships and a Culture of Consent

  • RealYou: Building Healthy Relationships and a Culture of Consent Presentation

In the Fall 2018 semester Anea Bogue concluded her Sexual Misconduct Prevention student and parent presentations titled: "Building Healthy Relationships & A Culture of Consent."

At San Mateo Union High School District, we believe real change in the interactions of the youth of our community will occur only when we are all working together to ‘Create a Culture of Consent’ (Parents, teachers, administrators and students).

Whether you were in attendance or were unable to attend the event, we do not want anyone to miss out on this important information. For this reason, Anea would like to share with each of you this complimentary Parenting Handbook focused on ‘Teaching Consent At Any Age.’

If you attended the Parent Info Night, this will serve as a great refresher and step-by-step guide on how to discuss consent with your children at any age. If you were not able to attend, the handbook promises to provide you with the pivotal information needed to begin those critical conversations with your children. In the next week or so, we will also be forwarding a recorded version of Anea’s entire presentation.

If you have any further questions or inquiries, we invite you to contact Anea directly at info@realyouprograms.com
