    Congratulations Class of 2022! You did it!

    Capuchino High School Summer Hours: Capuchino's main office will be open Monday-Friday 8am-3pm.

    Summer School: Information for summer school can be found on the school district website. You may reach the summer school office by calling (650) 558-2398 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. or by sending an email to summerschooloffice@smuhsd.org

    Summer School Bus Routes: Please see the attached flyer for Summer School bus routes on SamTrans. A SamTrans bus pass is available for every student that is attending summer school but students must sign up with their school counselor in advance. Additional summer school information is available on the district website 2022 Summer School Information.

    Free Drop-in COVID-19 Testing for SMUHSD Students and Staff: Over summer break we will have free COVID testing for all students and staff Thursdays 9am-12:30pm at San Mateo High School at the PAC Lobby.  Results will be sent to you within 30 minutes. You must be registered before testing. No appointment needed. Testing takes 3-5 minutes and is a self-administered nasal swab! You only need to register once for testing during the 2021-2022 school year.     Participation in Sports: In order to participate in Sports over the summer, students must re-register on SportsNet.

    Here is how to Complete the Athletic Packets Online: 

    •       Parents /guardians can complete the Athletic Packet by going to  https://sportsnethost.com/capuchino
    •       First-time users will need to set-up an account (you must have your student’s ID # to create an account). Returning users should enter their previously selected username (email) and password to log-in.
    •       After the packet is completed & submitted, a confirmation email will be sent from SportNet.
    •       Physicals that have not yet expired (were completed within the last year) and are on file in the CHS Health Office, can be used until they expire and do not need to be resubmitted.
    •       You may log back into SportsNet at any time during the year to upload a new physical or to complete the Adult / Student Driver portion.
    •       Student athletes must be cleared through SportsNet before they can participate in athletics.
    •       Any questions about medical clearance, please see Mrs. Martinez in the Health Office. Any other questions about sports, please email Athletic Director, Jay Oca: goca@smuhsd.org

    Como Completar el Paquete Para Atletas en Linea

    •       Los Padres/guardianes pueden completar el Paquete para los Atletas en linea, vaya a : https://sportsnethost.com/capuchino
    •       Si es usuario por primera vez, tiene que crear una cuenta  tener el #de estudiante para crearla). Si ud. ya tiene una cuenta, puede usar la misma cuenta del usuario (correo electrónico) y la contraseña para ingresar.
    •       Después de completarla y ingresarla,  recibirá un correo electrónico de SportsNet.
    •       Lo exámenes físicos que aún no hayan expirado (completados el año pasado solamenate) y  que estén en nuestros archivos en la oficina de enfermería de  CHS, pueden ser usados hasta que expiren, no necesita tramitalos ni ingresarlos.
    •       Ud. puede entrar a t SportsNet en cualquier momento durante en año, para ingresar el nuevo exámen físico o para completar la forma de manejo Adulto/estudiante.
    •       Los estudiantes atletas deben de estar vigentes en SportNet antes de participar en cualquier deporte.
    •       Cualquier pregunta referente a la forma médica vigente, puede contactar a la Sra. Martinez en la oficina de la Enfermería.

    Capuchino High School Sports Boosters Fundraiser: Our Capuchino High School Sports Boosters biggest fundraiser is coming up soon.  Please consider volunteering your time this summer to support all of our sports programs.  

    WE ARE IN NEED OF A DAY COORDINATOR FOR: 

    - Thursday June 30

    - Friday July 1

    - Saturday July 2

    - Sunday July 3

    Day coordinators will receive a FREE YEARBOOK

    We are also in need of volunteers interested in donating their time for 3-4 hour shifts. We will begin operation 6/28 and run through 7/5, 3-4 hour shifts are available daily. July 4th will require at least 3 volunteers per shift.

Club Meetings

  • Monday

    CHS Folklorico Club: Are you interested in dancing Ballet Folklorico? Come join us in A207 Mondays afterschool and Thursdays at lunch to learn more.  No experience necessary.  All are welcome.

     

    French Club: Bonjour Mustangs! The French Club meets on Mondays at lunch time in A205, Mr. Olsen's room. Everyone is welcome: you don't have to take French to be in the club! Hope to see you there!

     

    Tuesday

    Capuchino's Environmental Club! If you're interested in learning more about local and worldwide environmental issues, and want to help initiate change within the community through our various projects and events, come join us on Tuesdays at lunch in room D-6

     

    Latinos Unidos: We the members of the Latinos Unidos welcome anyone with the hopes of understanding our Latino culture and traditions. Every other Tuesday during Lunch in Room H136

     

    Marine Bio Club Meeting @Flex Time on Tuesday! If you like the ocean and want to learn more, Marine Biology Club meets Tuesday at Flex time in Ms. Tucker's room, D-2! Everyone is welcome!   

     

    Robotics Club: The purpose of this club is to build interest in robotics. We meet on Tuesdays at lunch in room D5.

     

    Women's Advocacy Group: We are here to amplify women's voices, support women's organizations, challenge gender-based inequalities, and give people a safe place to share their experiences. We meet every Tuesday in room H214. 

     

    Wednesday

    SAGA Club: The Sexuality and Gender Alliance club meets on Wednesdays at lunch in room H226.  All are welcome!!

     

    Thursday

    Chess Club: Do you like to play chess? Would you like to learn? Come join the Chess Club! We meet in A101 every Thursday at lunch.

    CHS Folklorico Club: Ballet Folklorico meets Mondays afterschool and Thursdays at lunch in A207.  No experience necessary.  All are welcome

     

    Black Student Union: Black Student Union meets on Thursday during Flex Time in room C113. All are welcome - you don't have to be Black to join.

     

    Interact Club: Would you like to make your community a better place? Join us in front of the main gym every Thursday at lunch. New and returning members are welcome. 

     

    Friday

    Black Student Union: Are you looking for an uplifting and empowering community? Do you want to educate yourself on current social issues and celebrate Black culture? Come join the Black Student Union this Friday in room C113! All are welcome and you don't have to be Black to join! Hope to see you there!

     

    Drama Club: Hey, Mustangs are you interested in any aspect of theater? We have a spot for you in the Capuchino Drama Club! We're always looking for new people to join. Many opportunities are available for all interests on our crew! We meet every Friday at lunch in room H214, Ms. Lemire's room. Bring your friends and your creativity! See you there!

     

    Just Us Club: What’s on your mind mustangs? With everything going on in the world we have to come together and say something. If you enjoy bringing awareness/educating others, or just trying to find where you fit in… Join us in A-204 at lunch on Friday’s!  The “Just Us” club will host its first meeting this Friday again in A-204 at lunch. We hope to see you there.
