    Winter Wonderland Spirit Week! Hey Mustangs! Get ready for a winter wonderland spirit week!!!! It's time to relieve your stress before finals, and to have some fun!!

    Monday - Sweater Weather! Wear your favorite sweater, hoodie, zip-up, or crewneck.

    Tuesday - Beanie Day! 

    Wednesday - Bundle Up in a Blanket - Bring a blanket to school to cozy up!!

    Thursday - It’s not Summer, so wear your Puffer!! 

    Friday - The Grinch Stole my Backpack!! Bring anything but a backpack!

    Be on the lookout for free treats/perks next week: stickers, buttons, candy canes and hot cocoa anyone? 

    Remember that there will be multiple opportunities to be a part of this spirit week. So let’s finish the week off with some fun, and some treats!!


    Sibling Page Yearbook Pictures: Calling all CHS staffulty and students, we need pictures of you and your siblings for our yearbook's siblings' page. Please forward the picture, names and a brief description to Ms. Kuy at


    Winter Concert: Come support the Music Department and watch our very own talented musicians right before finals week at their Winter Concert!  ALL SMUHSD Students & Staff are FREE (must present ID) 

    Orchestra & Choir is on Thursday, December 8 @ 7pm 

    Band is on Friday, December 9 @7pm.  Tickets are available for presale: $10, tickets at the door will be $15 . Thank you for your support and hope to see you there! Email if you have any questions 


    Winter Celebration: The Latino Parent Organization invites you to our traditional Winter Celebration on Friday, December 9 at 6:30 pm in our cafeteria. Come to enjoy hot drinks and good company.


    Come make Parols with Cap Kababayan!  Are you interested in learning more about Filipino Culture, participating in different activities, and meeting new people? If so, you should come to Mrs. Rogers room (H109) this Friday during flex - We will be making Parols! Materials will be provided, but whatever you can bring is appreciated. See our Instagram @capkabayanclub for more information. All are welcome! We'll see you then!


    Lego! Hey Mustangs, do you have any old legos that you don't use or need anymore? We are trying to collect pieces for some lunch time activities where students can build and have fun with other lego fans. We would love any and all donations to help us kick start these fun creator space events. Any bags can be dropped off to the main office labeled LEGO for H225. Thanks! 


    Latinos Unidos:  Happy Holidays to all! We wanted to let everyone know that there will be NO Latinos Unidos meeting this month due to final exams, we wish everyone luck! We invite everyone to join us with LPO for their annual Posada to be held on Friday, December 9 at 6:30 PM  in the cafeteria! We hope to see you all when we return in January! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Club Meetings

    Robotics Club: Robotics meets every Tuesday in Ms. Valletta's room D5. Please join us as we learn to build robotic cars, make 3D prints, and program.

    Spanish Club / Club de Español: Are you looking to meet other Spanish speakers and learners? Do you hope to travel to a Spanish speaking country one day?  Are you interested in learning about the music, art, culture, and food in Spanish speaking countries?   Come join the Spanish Club. We meet every Tuesday at lunch in A301- Profesora Adamcikova's classroom.  

    Tennis Club: The Tennis Club will be meeting on the tennis courts at lunch on Tuesdays. Bring your racket if you have one.


    Environmental Club: If you're interested in learning more about environmental issues and want to help initiate change within the community through our various projects and events, come join us every other Wednesday at lunch in room D-6!

    Latinos Unidos: Join us on Wednesdays at lunch in H136, Ms. Alvarez’s classroom! Come learn about the Latino Culture and have fun while you're at it! We would love to see you all there! Bring your friends! Todos son bienvenidos/Everyone is welcome

    Math Club: Come to A202 on Wednesdays at lunch to make friends, do math puzzles, participate in contests. It looks good on your college applications.  Join today.

    Capuchino Photography Club: Hey Mustangs! Are you interested in learning about aspects of photography such as Photoshop, Lightroom, DSLR or Mirrorless Cameras, and Photography techniques? Join Capuchino Photography Club, we meet every Wednesday at lunch in room C113, Ms. Duscha’s Room! See you there!

    SAGA Club: Meets Wednesdays @ lunch in room A207. Are you a part of the LGBTQ community and/or an ally?  Well we have a special little nook for you-)  We meet every Wednesday in Room A207, at lunch.  Please join us and let's work to make Cap a safe and inclusive school for all students!!


    Chess Club: Do you like to play chess? Would you like to learn? Come join the chess club every Thursday at lunch in room A203.

    Sewing Club: Do you want to learn how to make apparel and not just wear it? Do you love designing? Do you have an idea for a brand? Ever wonder how sewing promotes mental health and environment-friendly habits? Then, do I have the club for you! The Sewing Club meets on Thursdays in room H214 (Ms. Lemire) during lunch. All beginners are welcome! WE WILL TEACH YOU! **Don't have to be a Grandma to join.

    Interact Club Meeting: Would you like to make our community a better place? Join Capuchino’s Interact Club. We meet on Thursdays in front of the Main Gym at lunch. Interact Club is a community service club that focuses on community bonding!


    Drama Club Meeting: Come to Ms. Lemire’s room (H214) Fridays at lunch as we meet to kick off the Drama season! See you there!

    Marine Bio Club meets on Friday during Flex! Please come join the Marine Biology Club Friday during Flex in D-2.  Everyone is welcome!
