2020 CTE Industry Days

  • The San Mateo Union High School District offers Career Technical Education (CTE) programs in a variety of industry sectors to expose students to careers and ensure that our graduates leave with the communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills to be successful in their future careers.

Last year's Industry Day was an amazing experience and our teachers and students learned so much from hearing feedback on our program and what we can do better to prep students to enter the workforce.

We are excited to invite you to join our 2nd Annual Industry Days, in March at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center and District Office, during which industry representatives will meet with students, conduct mock interviews, review students’ portfolios, and give short industry talks. After lunch, industry representatives will meet with teachers to give input into our curriculum, budget, and help keep our programs up-to-date and relevant. We hope this day will be a dynamic learning experience for students, teachers and industry representatives!

Of course - breakfast and lunch are on us!

RSVP by February 14 if you would like to participate.
