The guidance program provides each student with a certificated counselor and a grade level advisor. In addition, a career center specialist and a scholarship aide are available to work with students and parents (see College & Career for more information). Aragon’s team approach focuses on establishing a positive relationship with the families to help students attain their goals for themselves. Helping to identify academic and vocational needs, planning a course of study and answering questions are among the various ways the team fosters student success. The goal of the guidance department at Aragon is for students to benefit from their high school years and to graduate with academic and lifetime skills that give them confidence to become lifelong learners and responsible mature adults.
