Transportation

  • BICYCLES & SKATEBOARDS
Bicycles and skateboards may be ridden to school but not on campus. Scooters are not allowed on campus. Bicycles and skateboards must be locked in a rack or stored in a secure location during the school day. Bicycle racks are near the tennis courts across from room 130 and skateboard racks are located between the lower floor of the Science Wing and the North Gym (see Campus Map).  Students must provide their own locks.  Rental bikes, skateboards, scooters, etc. are NOT allowed to be parked on campus at any time.

    DROP-OFF/PICK-UP AREAS
A special curb area on the Alameda de las Pulgas has been painted white to allow for student drop-off and pick-up.  We recommend dropping off and picking up on the Alameda.  Families are not allowed up the main driveway after 7:30am.

    VEHICLE REGISTRATION & PARKING REGULATIONS
All vehicles parked on campus regularly must be registered with Dounia Kardosh in Student Services and display a parking permit.  Students will need to complete a parking application and pay $10.00 for the registration decal.  Due to limited parking, only seniors can register to park on campus first.  Space for juniors will open if there are extra decals available after the seniors have registered.  A registration decal must be displayed in the lower left of the rear window. The parking areas open to students with registered vehicles include the parking lot on the north side of the campus and the entrance road up to the baseball field.  Students may not park in the areas designated for “Faculty/ Staff Parking”. Off-campus parking should be limited to the west side of Alameda along the front of the campus.

The parking lot area is off limits during the school day. Students are not to loiter in the parking lot at any time. Students are encouraged to keep cars locked at all times. The on-campus speed limit is 10 miles per hour. Vehicles without an Aragon registration decal, parked in a restricted area without authorization, not parked in a marked parking space, or in violation of the vehicle code are subject to detention, police citation, and towing at the expense of the owner. Students who park illegally are subject to curtailment of on-campus parking privileges.
