The health and welfare of our students is of the utmost importance to us. The San Mateo Union High School District commits to providing a clean and safe environment for our students, and strives to keep parents and family members informed about medical practices and any potential hazards to your child.

The Stanford Children's Health Teen Van is a mobile clinic that is at Peninsula High School one select day per month. The Health Van is for ALL students with an emphasis on students with no health insurance.
It is staffed with an adolescent medical physician, a pediatric nurse practitioner, a nutritionist and a social worker. Services provided on the Van include physical examinations, immunizations, sick care, family planning, STD screening and HIV screening and counseling.
