To Do Before the First Day of School
Before you arrive to Mills on the first day of school, make sure you do the following:
- Register for Free/Reduced lunch: Even though during the 2022-23 School Year, food is free at Mills for all students, registering for Free/Reduced Lunch will qualify you for fee waivers for SAT and AP exams.
- Order school photos from Lifetouch: See Mills website for link. School pictures will occur during the first week of school–Wednesday, August 10 for 9th graders during orientation,Thursday, August 11 for 10th & 11th graders and August 12 for 12th graders.
- New Families Register for a Canvas and Aeries Observer Account: See instructions on our website. If you need support, please contact Helena Aredo from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., M-Fr, at haredo_sub@smuhsd.org or 650-533-0792.
- Mills High School Signature Page: Fill out and Electronically sign the Signature Form confirming you’ve read this handbook and specific policies. Electronically turn this in prior to the first day of school, August 10.
