I'm First
I'm First was started in 2013 by the Center for Student Opportunity (CSO), which "is a national nonprofit based in Bethesda, Md. that works to empower first-generation college students on the path to and through college." According to the website, "I'm First! is an online community for first-generation college students—and their supporters. Hear inspiring stories and share your own, discover colleges that care about first-gen students, find answers to your questions about college, and receive guidance on the road to and through college." There is a college match feature; several of the filters assist with searching for colleges that emphasize first-generation college bound students and allow students to search by retention rate.
