The Student Services Department provides student support in the following areas:
- School safety
- Enrollment
- Attendance
- Discipline and alternatives
- Counseling
- Health
- Child welfare
Student Service professionals support student achievement by addressing barriers to learning while promoting positive academic and social/emotional development. Student Services is responsible for the annual Parents Rights Notification, student rights and due process, all forms of student discipline and alternatives to discipline, enrollment procedures, attendance policies, interdistrict and intradistrict transfers, residency verification, and the School Attendance Review Board (SARB). In addition, we have a coordinated school-based Mental Health program that serves the social and emotional well-being of our students. Our department is also responsible for foster care, homeless students and alternative school settings, sites and placement. Our liaisons in these areas are well-versed and happy to provide assistance to families in need.
The Student Services staff is committed to providing support to students and their families.
