Junior AVID students are provided the same foundational activities as Freshmen/Sophomore Year (Cornell Notes, Binder Checks, Tutorials, etc.) However, they begin to acquire skills to prepare them for college readiness and college acceptance:
Seniors prepare more intensely for the above skills. They write personal statements; participate in financial workshops for college and career; and undergo research projects.
