Tourism and Hospitality


    Tourism & Hospitality is a Career Technical Education (C.T.E.) pathway that serves students with a multi year experience providing team based workplace skills essential for today’s job market. The introductory course Food & Nutrition, focuses on making high quality food choices and learning simple food preparation, while Culinary Arts prepares students for advanced skills both in the kitchen and with customers as service representatives.

    This pathway emphasizes the next steps after high school by creating relationships with community partners in higher education and employment opportunities. Students will be active hands-on participants and will have the opportunity to visit and meet potential schools and employers in the field all while gaining valuable industry recognized certificates.
