Stay up-to-date with the latest district news. Subscribe to our eNews sent on Mondays before our Thursday Board meetings. Learn about key agenda items for Board discussion, District accomplishments, and community events. The enews is typically shared twice a month. In addition to eNews, we also send out a board meeting summary the day following the board meeting.

2026 NSPRA Awards
The National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA) recently announced the recipients of its Publications and Digital Media Awards. The SMUHSD Communications Department is extremely proud to announce that its 2024-2025 Annual Report, “The Spotlight” was recognized with an Award of Excellence in the Publications and Digital Media award(s) category.
SMUHSD's Districtwide Electronic Newsletter and its Facebook page for Spanish Speaking Families were also recognized with Honorable Mentions in the Social Media and Publications and Digital Media award(s) categories.
NSPRA’s Publications and Digital Media Awards recognize outstanding tactical materials such as publications, newsletters, videos, podcasts, websites, social media and more.
These awards demonstrate SMUHSD’s commitment to providing quality publications/platforms that provide important information that keeps our students, families, educators and broader community informed and engaged sharing important updates, resources, celebrations and District news.
