April 10, 2025 Public Hearing

The District is conducting a public hearing in accordance with Board Policy 6161.1 to recommend the adoption of a new curriculum to support Special Education. The proposed curriculum is enCORE by TeachTown. This will be brought back for board approval at the April 24, 2025 board meeting.

enCORE by TeachTown Curriculum Adoption Timeline

We will follow the process outlined below in order to ensure there is appropriate transparency for the adoption of the text. Here is the timeline for approval:

• March 10-April 10, 2025: TeachTown Curriculum preview on District website for review 

• April 10, 2025: Public Hearing for proposed Curriculum

• April 24, 2025: Approval of TeachTown Curriculum
