Curriculum and Assessment Department
The Curriculum and Assessment Department ensures that the District complies with all national, state and local educational initiatives including California’s Local Control Accountability Plan, the Federal Title III program regarding English Learners and the accreditation process led by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Finally, we also lead District-wide professional development that ensures that staff teach the various California Standards (including the Common Core), effectively leverage technology in the classroom, and continuously strive to be responsive to the linguistic and cultural diversity of the students in our schools.
