Digital 1:1

The District continues to expand its 1:1 Digital Bridge Program with the addition of 90 Chromebook carts for all Freshman teacher teams in the academic core across the District.  Each cart has been allocated to teams of teachers who met this summer to collaborate in the design of curriculum and instruction that builds on the best of what these digital tools and resources bring to the classroom. The program aims to build on the International Society for Technology Education standards for students and support teachers in their integration of technology to:

• Develop critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity for all learners.
• Design student-centered learning projects that improve learning outcomes.
• Design assessments that provide meaningful feedback for students.
• Support peer-to-peer coaching, mentoring, and training across the district.

Teachers in the program will continue their work at the sites where they will join other teams in the support of digital tools and resources in the classroom.
