Degrees and Certifications:
¡Hola! My name is Señora Quiñones (pronounced keen-yo-ness) and I have been teaching Spanish at Capuchino since 2012. Prior to Capuchino I taught outside of Boston, Massachusetts in a small town called Medfield. I was raised bilingual and bicultural, speaking both Spanish and English, in the cities of San Diego, California and Tijuana, México. I love sharing my language and culture with my students. Here at CAP, I teach Spanish and Spanish for Native Speakers. I also hold various teacher leader roles outside the classroom.
Some interesting facts about me: I am a third generation teacher, and so is my husband who also teaches in the SMUHSD. I am a grad of UC Berkeley -- go bears! In my spare time, you will find me spending time with my family, chasing after my toddler (daughter), eating out, cooking, baking, or reading the news. I am a news junkie!
Adios, y ¡hasta pronto!
