After graduating from North Salinas High School, Ms. Caughey attended U.C. Berkeley and earned a B.A. in history. She continued her studies at the Universidad de Granada in Spain where she completed a one-year program in Hispanic Studies. Finally, she earned an M.A. in Spanish from Sacramento State through their study abroad program in Peru, Mexico, and Costa Rica. In her free time Ms. Caughey is an amateur flamenco dancer.
