    Tutors in the Classroom

The San Mateo Adult School is looking for patient, friendly, and enthusiastic individuals to tutor English as a Second Language, Citizenship, Adult Secondary Education or 50Plus Program students in the morning, afternoon or evening at our various sites. Literacy Tutors work with students individually or in small groups in a teacher-supervised classroom setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with adults from diverse cultures who are pursuing life goals such as attaining citizenship, helping their children with homework, and improving their career potential. For more information please call (650) 558-2100 for the individual program coordinator.
