Welcome from the HHS Administration

  • July 5th, 2022

    Dear Hillsdale Families,

Welcome to Hillsdale High School, 2022-23. We are so excited to see all of our students in person in the coming weeks. We emerged out of the pandemic last year and school began to feel almost like normal during the spring semester. We look forward to moving beyond normalcy in the coming year to creating a community that improves upon the support and rigorous instruction that has characterized the Hillsdale experience year after year.

Hillsdale High School has been providing the unique and personalized educational experience of Smaller Learning Communities (SLCs) to our students for 20 years. This Smaller Learning Community model allows us to truly get to know our students and support them throughout their high school experience. Now, more than ever, we are prioritizing these connections and are here to support the learning and social emotional needs of our students.

Hillsdale’s diversity is its greatest strength and we hope that you join us in getting to know different aspects of this wonderful school, from your teachers and advisors to our extra-curricular activities to our support staff and administration. We dare to think that a school can unite students and families and that the four years a student spends here can be transformational. We look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

Our first ask of the year is that you take time with your student to review our Student Handbook, the tabs to the left outline each section.

After reading and reviewing the handbook, each student and their parent/guardian must sign their name to the 22-23 Mandatory Signature Page linked here. These signature forms must be signed and returned by August 22nd, 2022

    In community,
    Jeff Gilbert, Lead Principal
    Ashley Milton, Assistant Principal
    Sarah Prensky-Pomeranz, Assistant Principal
    Brett Stevenson, Assistant Principal
