The move from middle to high school is a critical transition, one in which students must deal with great changes in academics, responsibility and social structure all at the same time. Capuchino High school acknowledges the challenges associated with this transition and have excellent counselors, teachers and staff who care for all students' socio-emotional well-beings and academic successes.
Capuchino offers a range of events and family nights to help acclimate students and families to the school. Please see below.

Meet the Mustangs
What?: An event for incoming 9th Grade students from Parkside Intermediate School, Taylor Middle School, Private and Out of District schools
When?: Friday, March 15, 2024 9:15-10:15am
Where?: In the Capuchino MainTheater
Welcome Class of 2028! Students will meet our administrators, counselors, and wellness counselors.
There will also be representatives from our athletics, world language, VAPA, AVID, Activities Director and leadership students.
Parkside Middle School students will take a field trip to Capuchino for this event. The buses will arrive at Parkside at 9am

Private & Out of District Schools Programming
March 27, 2024
One-on-one programming for students from private and out-of-district schools will be held in the Capuchino High School Library on March 27, 2024.
Students must bring a transcript and their latest report card.
Families may sign up for one session. Session #1, 9-11am or Session #2, 1-3pm.

Student Leadership and Government
The Leadership Class, along with Capuchino’s elected Student Council Officers and Clubs, plans, implements and evaluates student activities that seek to educate, celebrate, and acknowledge the co-curricular components of campus life.
