  • The move from middle school to high school is a big transition for 8th graders and their families.     Panther Preview Day: October 29, 2019

    Our Shadow Program is called Panther Preview Day.  We choose one day per year and invite all prospective students to come to BHS for the afternoon to learn about our school, tour our campus, and get to know current Burlingame High School students.  Learn more about Panther Preview Day.

    8th Grade Family Night: Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 6:30-8:30 pm

    For all prospective 2020 parents/guardians and students
    6:30-7:00 pm - Watch a presetnation about Burlingame High School and what we offer students (BHS Auditorium)
    7:00-8:30 pm - Talk to department, see student clubs, and take tours of the campus (Main Gym)

    Spring Student Orientation 2020

    The Burlingame High School Counselors and Leadership will visit our larger partner middle schools (BIS and Crocker) in the Spring of 2020 to provide orientation information to our incoming freshmen.  Parents of students attending schools other than BIS or Crocker can pick up orientation packets directly from the BHS Counseling Office during the WEEK OF MARCH 2.

    All parents and guardians are welcome to come to our evening presentation at BHS and tour the campus once again during Open House.  Please see below for details:

    • BIS Students: Wednesday, March 4 @ 2pm
    • Crocker Students: Tuesday, March 3 @ 2pm
    • Private Schools and Other Public Schools: Thursday, March 12 at 6pm in the BHS Auditorium

     

    Incoming 9th Grade Class Programming 2020

    Families will need to have finished the enrollment process at the Office of Student Services of the San Mateo Union High School District prior to selecting classes.  Programming events are hosted in the following locations:

    • BIS Students: Thursday, March 19 - all day
    • Crocker, Private Schools and Other Public Schools: Wednesday, March 25 beginning at 3pm in the BHS Alumni Room - see BHS Course Selection Flier

    Please be sure that you or your student brings all of their paperwork, including Course Selection sheets with their choices marked.
