    PILATES GENTLE:  LEVEL 1

    Pilates is a series of mat-based exercises designed to improve posture, balance, and flexibility while strengthening your core – the abdominal, gluteus, hip, and back muscles. No prior experience is necessary. Please bring a mat, pillow and a towel to class. Guest passes accepted.

    PILATES GENTLE: LEVEL 2

    An intermediate level class, designed for those who have taken Gentle Pilates, Level 1 and are ready for a more challenging workout. If you have osteoporosis or spinal issues, Level 1 is a more appropriate class for you. Please bring a mat and a pillow or towel to class. Guest passes accepted.

    PILATES: BALL WORKOUT Intermediate

    Prerequisite: Pilates Level 2 or similar experience. Tone and strengthen your core – the abdominal, gluteus, hip, and postural muscles. Increase your upper body strength, improve your flexibility and balance, and invigorate your mind in this intermediate level class. Please bring your own exercise ball, mat, and weights.

    MIDLIFE YOGA 

    Practicing yoga calms some of your body’s system while strengthening others. Start where you are and under the guidance of our 50Plus instructors your practice will gradually and surely enhance your strength, range of motion and wellbeing. In addition to teaching customary yoga positions, instructors demonstrate modifications of postures for students as needed. Classes conclude with a meditative relaxation exercise. Wear comfortable clothing. Bring a towel, small blanket and yoga mat. Guest passes accepted.

    A restful, calming class including intentional deep breathing, gentle flowing movements, and mild to moderate poses selected to help you gradually release bodily tension while increasing overall flexibility, strength – concentration, clarity and calm. Bring a towel, small blanket and yoga mat. Guest passes accepted.
