Congratulations to Madeline Crisafi of Mills High School, she is the April recipient of the Certificated Golden Apple. Madeline was nominated by her colleague Rebecca Leung and this is what she had to say about her:
"For over two decades, Madeline has shown boundless dedication to her students on a daily basis. She not only knows her students thoroughly in terms of their academic capabilities, but also who they are in terms of strengths and weaknesses, habits, future plans, and families. Her dedication to her students, both Special Ed and General Ed in co-taught classes alike, is endless and inspiring. She regularly stays after-school until six or seven at night, assisting the students on her caseload with assessments and projects, equipped with snacks and words of encouragement. Her students truly adore her. Madeline is a pleasure to work with as a co-teacher, and truly one of a kind."
