Mills Professional Leadership Shines!!

On Saturday, February 9th fifteen members from the Mills FCCLA Chapter attended the Spring Meeting and Region qualifying Competitions held at Vaca Pena in Vacaville.  The theme for the year is Believe in Yourself. 

There were four teams competing in the following Competitive Recognition Events (CRE) Entrepreneurship, Event Planning, Salad Preparation and Interior Design.  These activities are designed to be intra-curricular learning experience that enhance and enable students to develop positive self-concepts as wells citizenship, sportsmanship and career skills. 

Entrepreneurship:  Carrie Ho and Erin Lum:  1st Place

Event Planning:  Alyssa Tat and Amber Chan:  1st Place

Interior Design:  Kailah Pintor and Rachel Su:  1st Place

Salad Preparation:  Rebecca Reinhardt-Mullins:  2nd Place 

Additionally Carrie Ho was elected to a Regional Officer Position for 2019-20.  Currently serving as 2018-19 Regional Officers are Jocelyn Quach and Marina Zoe Wong.  Calla Yang is currently serving on State Officer Team.
