Aragon's Equity Commitment
At Aragon, we are committed to our work to combat dehumanizing language and to speak out against racism. It is our duty to listen, have compassion, disrupt damaging behaviors, and to educate students about their actions. We care deeply about each one of our students and their families. We support the Black Lives Matter movement and uphold Aragon CARES values: Connect, Achieve, Respect, Engage, and show Spirit.
The Aragon Staff wants nothing more than for our students and families to feel validated, respected, and honored in each of their unique backgrounds and identities. Our District’s Equity Vision statement declares this, and we at Aragon will continue to strive to make this true for each and every one of you.
We know there is an enormous amount of work to do in maintaining an authentically positive culture, both in person and online. As always, we encourage and celebrate our community’s introspection and courage to do better.
