College and Career Readiness

College and Career Readiness Indicator

At SMUHSD, we are committed to providing our students with the highest quality education possible. We believe that education is the key to success, and we are proud to promote 7 ways students can be College and Career ready measured by the California College and Career Readiness Indicator (CCI).

The CCI is a tool used by the state of California to measure the preparedness of our students for college and careers. It provides a snapshot of how well our students are prepared for life beyond high school and helps us identify areas where we can improve to better prepare our students for the future.

The CCI is based on a combination of factors, including student academic achievement, college and career readiness, and high school graduation rates. By looking at these factors together, we can get a more complete picture of how well our students are prepared for success in college and beyond.

At our school district, we are committed to using the CCI to guide our efforts to improve student achievement and prepare our students for college and careers. We believe that all students can succeed, and we are dedicated to providing them with the tools and resources they need to reach their full potential.

We offer a wide range of programs and services to help our students prepare for college and careers, including advanced courses, career and technical education programs, and college readiness programs. We also provide our students with access to college and career counseling, as well as resources to help them navigate the college application process.

We are proud of the progress our students have made in preparing for college and careers, and we are committed to continuing to improve our programs and services to ensure that our students are well-prepared for success in the future. We encourage all of our students to take advantage of the resources and opportunities available to them and to strive for excellence in all that they do.
